Former piccolo and principal flute of the Simón Bolívar Symphony (1986-2018). He has participated in many recordings, tours around North, South and Central America, Europe and Asia, and also performed under the baton of acclaimed conductors such as: Eduardo Mata, Claudio Abbado, Simón Blech, David Machado, Carl St. Clair, Zubin Mehta......
ORCHESTRA MUSICIAN
He is part of the teacher's staff of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela. He has taught at the Simón Bolívar Music Conservatory, the Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) and the Latin American Flute Academy, and has given courses and master classes in Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, United States, Spain and Portugal.
TEACHER
Mr Pineda has extensive experience conducting ensembles and flute orchestras. He is a founding member of the National Flute Orchestra of Venezuela, and later was its associate conductor and principal conductor. He has collaborated with the Massachusetts High School Flute Choir and with the National Flute Orchestra of Chile, among others. He has arranged and composed a large number of works for this type of ensemble.

Mr. Pineda has been founder and member of Aulos flute ensemble, Inocente Carreño Woodwind Quintet and Miquirebo Venezuelan Flute Quartet. He is specialist in technical workshops and chamber music group training, in adition is specialist in orchestral repertoire for woodwind section. He has been Woodwind coach of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Simón Bolívar Symphony, Caracas Youth Symphony and the Teresa Carreño Symphony Orchestra on tours and concerts with conductors like Claudio Abbado, Simon Rattle and Gustavo Dudamel, among others.
CHAMBER MUSIC
His versatility makes him an ideal instrumentalist who tackles without difficulty works from the academic world and many popular genres such as traditional, pop, jazz and Latin Caribbean, among others. His musical reading, fully developed in an orchestral environment, is a guarantee of savings when making sessions in the studio.
