For flute quartet (2Cfl., Afl., Bfl.) / para cuarteto de flautas

La suite del regreso fue escrita en el año 2001, después de un largo periodo largo sin componer, de allí su nombre, aludiendo al regreso a las andanzas, al oficio de compositor. Está dedicada a “Miquirebo” Cuarteto de flautas de Venezuela del cual formé parte desde su fundación, una agrupación pionera en nuestro país y que fue el punto de partida de mi trabajo como compositor y arreglista. Clases magistrales en importantes universidades y conservatorios, giras de concierto dentro y fuera del país, la presencia en la convención de la NFA (Asociación Nacional de flautas de Estados Unidos) en Phoenix, Arizona, USA, en 1998 y un CD con lo más representativo de su trabajo quedó como referente de esta maravillosa agrupación. Escrita en tres movimientos la suite va del merengue al joropo explotando al máximo el recurso sonoro del cuarteto con la inclusión de las flautas alto y bajo para darle más profundidad al ensamble.

The suite del regreso was written in 2001, after a long long period without composing, of there its name, alluding to the return to the wanderings, to the office of composer. It is dedicated to "Miquirebo" Quartet of flutes of Venezuela of which I was part since its foundation, a pioneer group in our country and which was the starting point of my work as a composer and arranger. Master classes in important universities and conservatories, concert tours inside and outside the country, presence in the NFA (National Flute Asociation) flute convention of Phoenix, Arizona, USA, in 1998 and a CD with the most representative of his work was as a reference of this wonderful group. Written in three movements, the suite goes from merengue to joropo, exploiting to the maximum the sonorous resource of the quartet with the inclusion of the alto and lbass flutes to give more depth to the ensemble.
